Tommy Hilfiger's inspiration for Fall 2011 is all about global prep. Hi palette include burgundy, Air Force blue, yellow and bottle green. Christian Siriano's inspiration for Fall 2011 is dark plants that only survive out of sunlight. He’s using greens, mauve, and shades of black and gray.
Max Azria's inspiration for Fall 2011 is “timeless tailoring and rich textures”.

Max Azria unveiled that BCBG Max Azria’s Fall 2010 collection is inspired by “a fusion of extremes” (middle). He also reveled that Max Azria’s Fall 2010 collection is inspired by “minimalism evolved” (left) while Herve Leger is all about “the art of function” in bandage dressing (right).

Day 1 The first day of New York Fashion Week officially started a week full of fashion, shopping spree and celebrity appearances. Stores extended their business hours, champagnes have been popped everywhere and stars mingle with shoppers. Monique Lhuillier and BCBG Max Azria showed their Spring 2010 collection. Debra Messing and Michael Kors were seen at Macy's during launching of a new fragrance while Michelle Trachtenberg and Katy Perry checked out the latest shoes in Giuseppe Zanotti's boutique.
Day 2 The second day of New York Fashion Week was full of "First Lady" fashion styles as Jason Wu and Rag & Bone showcased their casual dresses and suits. Molly Sims and Rachael Zoe meet at at the Standard Hotel in NYC. Day 3 Despite the bad weather, celebrities went out to be on the front row of the 3rd day's fashion show. Twilight's Ashley Greene dressed up for Olivia + Alice while Rachel McAdams and Leighton Meester supported Joseph Altuzarra. Alexander Wang his "all-American sportswear" inspired collection.
Day 4 The fourth day was the most jam-packed day of the fashion week. Gossip Girl's Blake Lively admired Diane von Furstenberg's bright, bohemian collection. Meanwhile, DKNY also presented their City in Bloom collections.
Day 5 The fifth night of New York Fashion Week was dominated by Marc Jacobs. He invited Madonna for his front row seats and asked Lady Gaga to perform in his party after the geisha-inspired show. Carolina Herrera and Zac Posen revealed some new looks for Spring 2010.
