 Man! Today is the day for celebrity clothing line news, right? First we found out about Hilary Swank, and now Racked is reporting that Olivia Palermo has announced she is working on a line of her own.

We all know that the fashion star is shooting her own reality show, but today it’s being reported the series will follow Olivia’s road to success in the industry. Similar to Lauren Conrad’s deal, isn’t it?

Over the past few weeks, we’ve also learned that Mischa Barton (who is shooting a reality show too) is planning a line herself. I can barely keep up! Which star are you most looking forward to checking out?

Olivia Palermo Responds To Her 'City' Persona

thehillsgossiponline - Olivia Palermo reckons she’s nothing like the queen bee fans of the show get to see her as.

The New Yorker said: “I’d like to think that I’m the complete opposite of what you see on The City.”

She also told Australia’s Famous magazine that her off-screen friendship with co-star Whitney Port is best described as a “working relationship”.

She added: “We’re both incredibly busy, but we always try and take a few moments to catch up whenever we bump into each other, which is rare.”

Olivia also reckons she has never seen Gossip Girl – so she can’t be likened to Blair Waldorf.

“From what I heard, Blair’s not a very nice character.

“I’m nothing like that so I beg to differ,” she said.

Stepping out for a bout of retail therapy, Olivia Palermo was spotted dropping by 25 Park in Manhattan on Thursday (October 21).

The “City” chick seemed to be in high spirits as she happily smiled and waved to the on-hand paparazzi while walking to the Big Apple boutique.

Yesterday, Ms Palermo braved the chilly weather and enjoyed lunch with a friend on an outdoor patio at Sant Ambroeus.

Awhile later, the trendy gal hailed a cab only to be whisked off to her next adventure. (Hollywood Gossip)
