After my Pade Vavre Wild Horses necklace binge, I cannot justify splurging on these Eley Kishimoto suede and python flats, EVEN THOUGH they're on sale AND I could easily justify buying them because they're basically like TWO pairs of shoes in one! I would kick, beg, or steal (okay, not really) or commit some other crime of passion for them, though.

Crimes Of Passion: Eley Kishimoto Python Flats

JACKETS: PART 3: Just A Light Jacket
Today's jacket theme is just "light" -- pretty light colors like cream and "dove" and "sandcastle" and even white.
First, my absolute top fantasy pick of the bunch:
(Eley Kishimoto)
First, my absolute top fantasy pick of the bunch:

I have no idea how much this is or if it's even still available as it's from Eley Kishimoto's 04/05 collection. Boo. But a beauty indeed.
Okay, a wee bit out of my price range, especially since I absolutely belabored a $118 purchase of a jacket today at Macys. But if I were in the habit of dropping close to 2 grand on a jacket, this would be the first one I'd drop it on. And I love that its color is called "dove." Sigh.
A more realistic jacket from Nordstrom.
($212, Diesel, Ssense.com)

Any greener and this would be too green, but the light mint is sort of lovely. There's something very Pacific Northwest about this jacket -- and in a good way.
($58, Delias)

The capelet -- classic, yet definitely not for my shape. Yet this one is simple and timeless nevertheless.
($111, Diesel, Sstyle.com)

Can you ever go wrong with a fitted jacket? No. No, you can't. And Diesel's Bicik jacket is tres parfait, no?
($29.50, Old Navy)

Definitely cute. (This is the "sandcastle," btw). Reminds me of a similar jacket I had in college and makes me wonder what the hell happened to it ("it" being the jacket, not college, though sometimes I wonder what the hell happened to that too).
($39, Yag, Lulusfashionlounge.com)

Once again, Lulu's Fashion Lounge (and I swear I don't work for them) hits one out of the park with an awesome looks-ten-times-more-expensive-than-it-actually-is piece. This jacket is truly adorable, and again, looks like Mike & Chris, and I'd totes buy this if I weren't positive I'd stain it by the third wear.

Early Week Shoe Binge
Some swoon-worthy shoes for you on this pointlessly humid Monday, the day before the celebration of the day of my birth!
($195, Maud, Pixiemarket.com)
I finally went into the ADORBZ Pixie Market on Stanton yesterday. I totally <3'd this Youtube clip for a tour -- the space is tiny, so this short clip pretty much covers it all (but the part where the owner refers to New York shopping as "boring" is so shitty -- the sort of thing that ONLY someone who owns a boutique in the LES would ever say. Barf.)
($79, Oh... Deer!, Modcloth)
So ridiculous that they actually almost work. Oh... Deer! is fast becoming one of my new fave shoe brands. I even actually sorta like these...
($39, Oh... Deer!)
I doubt I personally would wear them, but they're cool in theory.
(Apprx $297, Terrydehavilland.com)
If those Oh... Deer! heels are taxi-cab-inspired, then consider these Terry De Havilland heels school-bus-inspired. And speaking of Terry De Havilland, if you were, for some God-forsaken reason, considering purchasing the painted Pop Art mules you saw on Amy Winehouse, that bastion of good fashion sense, she:
(Apprx $692, Terrydehavilland.com)
They're $70 less on Asos.com. Now you know... But if you're gonna drop that much on shoes, why not make it two pairs, like...
($546, Dolce & Gabbana, Asos.com)
Looooooooove.
(Apprx $160 USD, Eley Kishimoto, Asos.com)
I believe I've posted these before, but they're on sale. And still! Still so beautiful!
($398, Pedro Garcia, Kateboutique.com)
Defs not on sale, but so classy. However, read the description -- awful.
($137, Bernardofootwear.com)
Serious shoe boner for these (via Shopalicious.)
(Apprx $6 USD, Office.co.uk)
And, finally... some fun frugal footwear.
Nitey nite!

Mama Want: Eley Kishimoto Striped Heels
AGHH! LOVE these Eley Kishimoto striped D'Orsay heels. They're like the color of a gay field mouse. I'd wear the pants off these shoes. Seriously.
($216, Eley Kishimoto, Yoox.com)

Oh, I DO have to say though, I recently ordered a pair of SIIIICK, like SWINE FLU sick potential wedding-dress-heels from Yoox, and tax and shipping were like a ZILLION dollars. They were $200 shoes, but still. Boo!
