When Bollywood stars are busy tweeting, actress Kareena Kapoor has launched her official website and promises to update her fans frequently.

“This is my own site, my own space. I like the thought of leaving Post-it notes for my fans. I have created a special fan book where fans can write to me directly,” Kareena, 29, said in a declaration.One of the notes on her website www.kareenakapoor.me said: “Club Kareena is my official fan club. Check out Club Kareena on Facebook and Twitter.”

Another latest development in Kareena’s professional life has been her association with FIFA 1 GOAL, an International campaign on Education for all. She has become the first Indian actress to be linked with FIFA 1 GOAL.

She has joined the likes of Matt Damon, Jessica Alba, Kevin Spacey, and Hillary Clinton and considers her website would help the campaign to contact people, who don’t know a lot regarding Indian cinema.

If the latest buzz is to be believed, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning something really extraordinary these days. Believe it or not, but Bhansali is gearing up to cast top-notch actresses – Aishwarya, Preity and Kareena – together in one of his upcoming projects.

Reports reveal that Bhansali is keen to rope in Ash, Preity and Kareena together in lead roles for his most special venture till date, titled ‘Heera Mandi’, apparently based on the famous red light area in the walled city of Lahore.

It may be recalled that the filmmaker had announced ‘Heera Mandi’ sometime back, but later dumped the idea of making the film. However, now Bhansali is reportedly decided to start working on the project as soon as his much-anticipated film ‘Guzaarish’, starring Hrithik and Aishwarya, is complete.

Grapevine has it that Sanjay initially wanted Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukherjee and Sonam Kapoor for lead roles. Nevertheless, watching Ash, Preity and Kareena sharing screen space would also be a one of a kind experience. What say!

Kareena's 30th birthday plans revealed

Kareena Kapoor will bring in her 30th birthday on Sep 21 in Latvia, where she is busy shooting for Agent Vinod with beau Saif Ali Khan.

Since Agent Vinod is Saif's home production, he and Kareena are planning to fly down to be with Kareena's mother (Babita) in Latvia for the birthday.

Her sister Karisma cannot join them because of her baby and Kareena expresses helplessness about her impossible schedules.

"What can I do? I barely have time to breathe. I've just come to Mumbai for two days. I've been away for 25 days. Now I fly off to Latvia for over a month's shooting," said Kareena.

Talking about her future, she said: "I'm now entering a new phase in my life and career. This year I hope to conquer many new peaks. By god's grace Agent Vinod and Ra.One are shaping up very well."

Kareena has also signed Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, but the film's shooting has been postponed. Confirming the news, she said: "Madhur is still working on the script.

We start shooting the film when the script is ready in the next three months. Right now Madhur is busy with Dil To Bachcha Hai Jee. (taheena)
