Yellow, White, Blue

I love the combination of the yellow and blue, broken up by the white. And not to mention her Acne shoes...they are incredible!

Streetstyle Saturday
It's Saturday, and that means Streetstyle Saturday. This time, I have found a lot of great streetstyle photos of known people, such as Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo and Abbey Lee Kershaw. After seeing all of the photos together, I see that the main thing they all share is the use of neutral colours, which I love as it allows a lot of room to play around and experiment with the outfit. The only splash of colour is Alexa's yellow scarf, and Giovanna Battaglia's hot red skirt. I LOVE that red together with the beige - such a gorgeous combination!

Streetstyle Saturday
I know that I am in the company of many others when I say that one of my biggest sources for inspiration is streetstyle. Therefore, I have decided that every Saturday I will do a post dedicated to some of the most interesting and inspiring outfits that I discover during the week. I really do hope that this is something you, my dear readers, will like.
If there are some streetstyle sites or blogs you would like to recommend (maybe you run one yourself?), please do not hesitate to tell me about them. The more, the merrier!

Miss Love
I recently did a post about the photos that The Selby shot from Pamela Love's home in Brooklyn, where I also expressed my admiration for the jewelry designer. I found these street style photos on the lovely and talented Vanessa Jackman's blog, and once again I must exclaim my fascination for Pamela Love. She always manages to look so laidback and cool, and she mixes and matches so many great pieces. And I want the crow skull necklace so much!

Candy Coloured Trousers
I can't get enough of roaming street style websites, and one of my many favourites is STREETFSN. Here I discovered this outfit which really inspires me. The pale green, almost mint coloured trousers are so refreshing, and I love how she has teamed them together with a simple, classic cream coloured blazer, an elegant beige clutch and a pair of statement shoes. And I really like that she's wearing the coat on her shoulders - it adds such a cool detail.

This street style outfit made me think of Serena from Gossip Girl. It's no secret that I adore Serena's style, and so far, her wardrobe for season 4 is just brilliant. Especially in the episodes where she is in Paris. While she's there, she wears this amazing outfit consisting of lose baby pink trousers together with a neutral tank and bold accessories (LOVE that green necklace!).
I have to get myself a pair of lose pastel trousers. Who knew they could look so great?! What do you think about them? Is it something you would wear?

Pink Delight
On my daily check-out of one of my favourite streetstyle blogs, Stockholm Streetstyle, I was met by a delightful sight. These two lovely ladies, better known as Andy (behind the blog Style Scrapbook) and Sandra (behind the blog 5 Inch and Up), have both mixed up their outfits with some shocking hot pink. When February arrives, I am always hungry for some bright colours after wearing a lot of darks and neutrals during the autumn- and winter months. This will give me a push to start digging out some pieces in bright colours, and combining them with winter coats and thick cardigans. Also, it will give the perfect excuse to go shopping. I have already seen that H&M's Trend collection is getting brighter and more colourful in between the racks.
Will you be wearing more colour soon? Or is it still a bit early?

Saturday's Inspiration
This image just won't leave my mind. "Why?", you may ask. "The outfit is close to perfection", I answer. It carries various elements which I am obsessing over, and have been for quite some time. The bold, chunky knit teamed together with thin, delicate fabric which makes the maxi skirt, gives the feeling of contrast (which I am weak for). Grey and warm beige is a beautiful combination, and teamed together with a splash of bright colour (the red bag, socks and nail polish), it's just brilliant. The black hat and the boots enhances the toughness of this outfit, giving it a rock-chic edge to it. And don't let me get started on her rings because I am developing a huge crush on the one in the middle. Something tells me that I'll be wearing something very similar in the near future. Maybe a perfect outfit for tomorrow, while eating Sunday brunch with friends?

//Denimmmm//
Three great ways to wear denim.
Ps. Do any of you know who the first girl is? I've seen her in a few streetstyle blogs, and I love her style.

"My style icon would be evacuees. And Grandad"
One day I'm going to move to London.
(if any of this is going to make any sense, it would be wise to watch the video posted below)
I'll walk up and down Brick Lane in a nighty (think a silky, short nightdress) and a gorgeous vintage faux fur coat, preferably YSL. With me, I'll bring my bag, my friend. He/she carries my life. I will be like a magpie, collecting ideas from all the inspiring people. Thank you London girls and boys!
"Everyone say they dress for themselves...but if I was in a white room and there was no one there, I'd probably wear pyjamas so I don't think that's true"
If I was in a white room all by myself, dressing up and making an effort would probably be the only thing to keep me sane in the long run. Oh but hang on a minute! In my mind I've already put on a silk nightdress, so maybe this girl is making some sense. Or I've just lost my senses...
