Bollywoods Hot Actress Kareena to act in Telugu film

After conquering Bollywood, ravishing Kareena Kapoor is heading towards south. Grapevine buzzed that Kareena will act in Telugu film opposite south star Pawan Kalyan in his next flick Puli. Director SJ Suryah and producer Singanamala Ramesh have approached Kareena but she is yet to give her consent.
Pawan Kalyan and Ileana’s Jalsa is doing well at the box-office and the filmmaker now wanted to cast a popular Bollywood female lead opposite him in his next film and so they have selected Bebo as she is the most happening actress of hindi cinema. The movie will have both Bollywood and Hollywood connections. Hindi film cinematographer Binod Pradhan will handle the camera and AR Rahman will compose the music of the film. The action sequences of the film will be directed by a Hollywood action director.

Kareena have a bagful of Bollywood assignments and if the filmmakers are able to convince her then it would be a great achievement for them. The director and the producer are anxiously waiting for her reply.

Celina Jaitley: "No I don't think cricket has become a tamasha. I think everything that's happening at the IPL is being turned into a tamasha. Sreesanth being slapped is very unfortunate. I feel that the spirit of sportsmanship which makes every sport noble is now going out of cricket. Sad.
Hema Malini: "Yes, cricket has become a big tamasha. The dignity of the game is completely lost. Cricket by itself is so engrossing. Why does it suddenly need women to cheer on the players and the public?

There's absolutely no need for such distractions. The Indian public had no clue about such entertainment (cheerleaders) before this. And now there's slapping during the game! I am shocked.

Urmila Matondkar: "I don't think cricket is turning into tamasha at all. It's just that cricket has turned more glamorous exciting and bigger. As for the cheerleaders I don't think they serve any purpose at all. We don't need to copy the West blindly."

Don't spectators enjoy the presence of these cheerleaders at football games abroad? But here there's bound to be a reaction to everything that's new. Sad. What happened to Sreesanth was not right.

I agree cricket has become more of a tamasha less of a sport lately. At least to me it's no longer exciting.

Aryan Vaid: "I've always been a huge cricket fan. Nothing can take away from its popularity. Tomorrow it may can turn into a ras leela, it won't matter. It will continue to grow in popularity.

As for the cheerleaders I don't want to play a spoil sport. But I don't understand the need for so much flesh display. The IPL is a tamasha. And that's what sells. Ask Rakhi Sawant and Mika about it ha ha.

But please let's not bring in the moral police. There's more nudity happening on tv. We get offended in the country for the silliest of reasons. As for Sreesanth's slap it's a matter between two team mates.

They's understand their bonding better than any of us. If Sree complains it should be looked into. If he doesn't we need to mind our own business. Emotions always run hight during sports events.. If cricket has become a tamasha I love every bit of it.

Samir Soni: "Certain frills might have been added to the cricket format to broaden the fan base. But that apart the game continues to be intensely engaging.The slapping incident is unfortunate.

But such things happen in any sport so why single out cricket? About the cheerleaders the less said the better. Cricket being big in our country everything about it gets blown out of proportion.

Marchesa Fall 2008 Collection and Its Architectural Inspirations

Marchesa's Fall 2008 Collection paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth 1. It is mainly composed of evening gowns and cocktail dresses. The colour palette was mostly black, purple, red and ivory, with the one pale blue one-shouldered gown. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig used ruffles, rosettes and lace.

The gowns were gorgeous, aren't they? But I'm sure you'll love them more after visiting Trendinista blog. Jill Sherman, author of the blog, studied the designs of Machesa's gowns and she was able to compile photos of the gowns with spires and pagodas that somehow looked like them. You'll never believe this, at first glance you'd probably think that the gowns were inspired by these architectural designs.

Have you seen the April issue of Flair magazine? Well, it has a spread featuring model Flavia Oliveira with an editorial title "Hollywood Dreams". Flavia portrayed an image of an aspiring model who seeks stardom, finds rejection, romance, publicity, boredom and personal epiphanies along the way.

Perforated Plz: F-Troupe's White Patent Leather Saddle Shoes

Usually white shoes are a HUGE nein, but these white patent perforated saddle shoes -- they're perforated with teensy little STARS -- break through the busted code and come out clear on the side of awesome sauce. And they remind me of the Steve Madden Skiip perforated flats I loved for so long.


A cursory Internet search brings up only the 8.5 at Zappos, so, if you're a 8.5 AND you want these shoes, it's SO your lucky day!

Bath and Beyond

Driving through the green English countryside on a perfectly sunny day is absolutely dreamy. Walking through the historic city of Bath, where Jane Austen lived for 5 years and found inspiration for such loved characters as Mark Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett, is even dreamier. I am still reminiscing about the quaint cobblestone streets, ancient Roman Baths, magnificent residential homes of Georgian architecture, and an overpriced tourist trap known as the Jane Austen Centre which greets visitors with a photo of actor Colin Firth (you should already know who that is).

The Perfect Shoe?

I have never had the perfect pair of nice red shoes, I don't think. Thinking back, I recall a pair of slip-on Diesel sneaks that were awesome (but smelly, eventually); a pair of shitty vintage pumps whose soles fell apart on the first wearing (ah, vintage); a pair of woven leather Dolce Vita moccasins that are comfy as hell but sorta make my feet look fat and are difficult to keep on the feets -- and that's it. I did frequently borrow a pair of Tamron's when we were roomies back in the day: Red heels can really pump up a black-pantsed professional look, and are of course great with jeans for going out, etc. But then she moved and I was s.o.o.l. God, I miss those days of a double shoe wardrobe. And so it is with great glee that I present these fabulous Seychelles peep-toe kitten heels, criminally overlooked by Ms. Lohan in her recent roundup. Are they not just perfect?! I love them so, and they shall be mine in three to five business days. $64.95 plus free shipping! Whee!
