Mary-Kate Lennon, I presume?

Excuse me, but have we seen this person before? The layers upon layers, wild hair and shabby-chicness gives a feeling that there might be something about this girl that is kind of familiar. Hmmm...nope nothing comes to mind..ah well...that's that then...

WAIT!!! IT'S MARY-KATE!!!! How could we have guessed behind those peculiar shades, only ever worn by John Lennon (and a guy at my school)? What's happened to the Ray Ban's, the Chanel's, the Tom Ford's?? Well, actually it kind of makes a nice change.

Maybe this will become the new It thing? Celebrities morphing into their favourite old famous icons? Suddenly all of Hollywood (and the whole world outside Hollywood) will be walking around as people from the past. Fun, but scary thought.

So, if you'll excuse me, I'm on my way trying to find my white floaty dress, my red lipstick and my blonde curly wig so that I can I can morph into Marilyn Monroe. Hey, it's the new It thing..haven't you heard??

If you were to morph into one famous icon, who would it be?

I Have A New Style Icon...

And her name is Alexa. Alexa Chung. TV presenter. Lucky girlfriend of Arctic Monkey Alex Turner *drool*. And she owns one of the best wardrobes I have ever seen. If I could have anyones wardrobe in the entire world, it might just have to be hers. Well, close behind Carrie Bradshaw's and Sienne Miller's at least.

And to make things even better (or worse, if you feel like a pessimist today, and don't feel like reading about beautiful girls who have it all), she has a cute sense of humour. When Alexa was asked whose style she admired, she answered:

"I'm kind of obsessed with the Olsen twins. I find them amazing because they look like little well-dressed animals".

get waisted with roger...

WARNING: if you haven't seen the Sex & the City movie yet and don't want to see some of the outfits that are seen in it, then you should not keep on reading.

In a recent interview with Nylon Magazine, Patricia Field told the readers some SATC behind-the-scenes information: "Sarah had a vintage studded belt she really liked, she named it Roger...and she would always say "Pat, get me Roger!" And I was like, "Carrie Bradshaw can't wear the same belt with every outfit!"

Looking at some photos from the SATC movie of Carrie Bradshaw's style, I spotted a certain someone-someone quite often. Aha! You guessed it..it's Roger! And he is pretty darn fine. He can work every outfit; from the everyday jeans and t-shirt look to the most fabulous ball gown. I must admit that I have fallen a little bit in love with this very gorgeous gentleman.

Pat Field continued talking about belts to Nylon Mangazine, and about how she thinks they will become the new big thing: "I think belts are going to keep being very big. I like what a belt does to the of a woman. It's like, okay girls, pull it in!"

So take Pat Field's advice and next time you're out shopping, don't forget to look out for your very own Roger. He can make your outfit look a hundred times better and unique.
